Swift Networks $1.2 m penalty for bid rigging

The Federal Court has ordered Swift Networks Pty Ltd to pay a penalty of $1.2 million for cartel conduct (bid rigging) when tendering to supply technology infrastructure and services to Pilbara mining village projects.

Swift admitted it had engaged in cartel conduct and joint submissions were made by the parties and the ACCC.
