CDPP withdraws criminal cartel charges against banks

The Commonwealth Director of Prosecutions has withdrawn charges against Citigroup, Deutsche bank and senior banking executives relating to criminal cartel allegations. These involved conduct in 2015 which was investigated b the ACCC in mid-2017 and then referred to the ACCC.
