Tribunal says no to collective bargaining by mining companies at Port of Newcastle

The Australian Competition Tribunal has revoked the ACCC’s 2020 authorisation for NSW Minerals Council and mining companies to collectively bargain with the Port of Newcastle.

Port of Newcastle sought review of the ACCC’s determination and on a re-hearing of the matter the Tribunal decided not to grant authorisation.
