‘Privatise for efficiency, or not at all’

The annual Bannerman Competition Lecture was held ‘virtually’ last night, delivered by the CMA’s Chief Executive, Andrea Coscelli.

ACCC Chair, Rod Sims, has just delivered his annual address to the Law Council of Australia Business Law Section’s Competition and Consumer Workshop.

Speaking in a webcast with the AFR, ACCC Chair, Rod Sims, said that the ACCC was working with businesses to authorise cooperation to support the community during the current crisis, but that competition has a critical role to play post COVID-19.

In his annual speech to the Committee for Economic Development Australia (CEDA) speech, ACCC Chair Rod Sims set out the ACCC enforcement priorities for 2020.
